Three Blessings

In preparation for Christmas, I realized that yet another year has raced by and I did not get a family picture taken. So, I made the kids put on dress clothes and planted them in the FOREST (the soon-to-be-painted green walls on the living room). After many shots - this one of the three laying on the floor - I found as the keeper.

In addition, I thought I would share some of the others. It gives you a good idea of how much the kids enjoy this process. LOL. Can't you imagine what they are saying, "make it stop", "not another one", and "we can't stop ourselves!". What good sports - You gotta LOVE EM!!

New House

We finally got a new house - you know - a North Fargo home with more space and a mature yard that Byron can nurture. Everyone has their own bedroom on the second floor...well Byron and I share one. I finally have the master bathroom I've wanted (No more sneeking across the hallway after a shower! ) and a bonus of his and her closets. We now have a mud room (great for everyone's gear) and a main floor laundry. In addition, we have a nice family area on the main floor were everyone can hang out, eat and watch tv by the fireplace. Another great feature of this older home, was that the kitchen, basement, and master bath had recently been remodeled (less projects for us to tackle). However, we still have found MANY projects to tackle...let me just say wallpaper ended up being just the tip of the iceberg.

Dorothy

Somewhere Over the Rainbow, with Dorothy, acutally it is Katie is her Halloween costume! She looks the part with her red sequin shoes and of course, toto in a basket.

Katie wanted to be a diva or a rock star but I convinced her (actually the purchase of toto and the basket provided a little nudge) to be Dorothy. She is my little baby and I'm not ready for her to grow up yet so I was thrilled that she wore this darling costume. Keep your fingers crossed for next year and maybe I will get one more year out of her!
